As an African American woman, it’s disheartening to know less than five percent of the world’s population of publishers are “Black.” I don’t just mean African Americans; I mean anyone who considers themselves Black, no matter the nation. Her professional journey began in the video production department of Baltimore Orioles. Later, she worked for Fox and CBS in Baltimore for several years. Subsequently, she moved to Los Angeles where she worked on popular TV shows and taught media arts.
